Wake Me

American hard rock quartet, Wake Me, seamlessly blends harmonic melodies and hard hitting choruses with a rock solid live show that consistently captures the hearts of every crowd they perform for. Founded in Denver, Colorado, the band is composed of Justin Ray, Collin Stanford, Travis Bennett, and Travis Authier. Originating with metal roots, they established a name for themselves not only in the Denver music community but around the world with the release of their first EP "The Safety Abandon" and their highly esteemed cover of Seal's "Kiss From a Rose," named one of the greatest metal covers of the last two decades by Guitar World Magazine. Amongst other successes, the band continued to evolve and was progressively moving towards a more active rock sound. Eager to take this new sound to the next level, the group headed to LA and teamed up with producer Erik Ron, best known for his work with Godsmack, I Prevail, and Bush. After creating what the band knew was their best work yet, they returned to Denver and soon after released their first single "Are You Listening", hitting #25 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Indicator charts. With a huge response to the first single they quickly turned around and released their second radio single, "Made to Break" also cracking into the Billboard charts hitting #30. Having shared the stage with bands such as Five Finger Death Punch, Sevendust, Skillet, and Pop Evil, the band continues to prove they can hang with the best of them. Read more on Last.fm.
